Polaris Partners with Butch Mock Motorsports and Rick Mast to Benefit Speedway Children's Charities

    No. 75 car to sport charity's decal during UAW-GM Quality 500


    Rick Mast will carry a special passenger during the upcoming NASCAR Winston Cup Series UAW-GM Quality 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The No. 75 Remington Arms/Polaris Ford Taurus driven by Mast will sport the logo for one of NASCAR's top charitable organizations
-- Speedway Children's Charities.
    Polaris has teamed with Mast to raise funds and awareness for Speedway Children's Charities by giving race fans the opportunity to win a limited-edition Polaris ATV.
    "It's great to have a sponsor like Polaris that generously contributes to a number of worthwhile organizations," Mast said. "Speedway Children's Charitie s is a wonderful charity that makes a difference in kids' lives. I'm thrilled to be able to help."
    Throughout the race week, Sept. 30-Oct. 4, fans can show their support by participating in a raffle. One lucky fan will win a Sportsman 500 Remington(TM) Special Edition Polaris ATV and a Featherlite(R) trailer autographed by Mast. Tickets can be purchased at the Polaris display booth at Charlotte Motor Speedway. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Speedway Children's Charities.
    Before the race, fans will have a chance to view the prize package as the number 75 Remington Arms/Polaris Ford Taurus show car takes a parade lap around the track.
    "We are really pleased that Polaris and Rick Mast are helping further our cause," said Gen. Tom Sadler, executive director of Speedway Children's Charities. "The exposure Rick is bringing us by carrying our logo is invaluable. And the prospect of winning a special Polaris ATV will really help raise important funding."
    Since its inception in 1984, Speedway Children's Charities has donated more than $3 million to local charities that provide cultural, medical and social service needs to area children. Last year alone it awarded grants to over 142 separate children's charities, reaching over 120,000 children.
    A limited quantity of Sportsman 500 Remington(TM) Special Edition Polaris ATVs is available. The special edition of the popular Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV features Mossy Oak(R) Break-Up(TM) brand camouflage patterning on all the body panels, a front rack extender and sturdy tubular front and rear bumpers.
